“ Discovering hidden beauty”
The gracious curve of the ridge of
a roof, the perfect proportion of length and breadth, the beautiful color of
Dancheong and the elegant curve of eaves are revealed to express the beauty of
our culture.

expresses the beauty of the gracious curve.

bulbs floodlight the upper area ? Sky line of the structure

Dancheong ? Express original color
Metal bulbs with high color rendition
floodlight the upper area ? beauty of elegant colors
3) Wall ? golden ratio
of length and breadth
Floodlight the upper part from the land ? Consider
damage by lighting apparatus

appropriate brightness by considering night environment in the palace.

1) Eaves: Make stone box with same materials and size
of the Jeondol and bury it under ground and install high color rendition
lighting apparatus to floodlight the Dancheong
2) Ridge of the roof: Install
lighting apparatus in the hidden poles in green zone to floodlight the curve of
the roof (Raise the color rendition by using color correction filter.)
